Privacy and cookies
This notice covers the BacklogBeast website at backlogbeast.com. The service itself will have its own terms and privacy policy at launch.
Who we are: BacklogBeast is run by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Contact: info@backlogbeast.com.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the time you joined. We use it only to tell you when BacklogBeast is available, and we don't share it or sell it. We keep it until launch, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. To be removed, email us from that address.
The site and the waitlist are hosted by Cloudflare, which processes requests on our behalf.
Cookies and analytics
Nothing that tracks you loads unless you choose Allow analytics in the banner. If you do, we use:
- Google Analytics 4, to count visits and see which pages are useful.
- Microsoft Clarity, to see how pages are used through heatmaps and session recordings, with form fields masked.
Both set cookies and are run by Google and Microsoft under their own privacy terms. We don't use advertising cookies. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage, not a cookie.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
